Ok I misjudged the last few classes for my bachelor’s degree. This is entirely on me being over-zealous on the official release.
Good news!
Andy is helping me write reviews as well. Andy is my beloved and he is an amazingly talented musician. He’s been in about a dozen different bands. He plays guitar, he plays bass, he drums. He’s mostly been in various metal projects around Burlington Vermont but I’m hoping to get him his own official author page on this website to link up his past work. He’s also an incredibly talented live sound and audio engineer. He’s helped me clean up my podcast a few times and it always shocks me how good he can make things sound.
Andy can speak with serious authority on musical references, especially in heavier genres.
I am thinking of adding a SINGLE request form. I want to make quick short form videos and blog posts for singles and then stick to longer EP and album reviews within the zine itself ($1 digital downloads – 7$ printed copies is the goal here).
We are heavily discussing our own venue and funneling Sleazine content into the dream of starting a self sustaining venue in Chittenden County Vermont.
I have had so many wonderful bands reach out about being featured in the zine and I’m truly touched by how many people have already found this website and my social media accounts. Thank you all!
